Aluminum-coated heat insulation protective clothing usage instructions
Aluminized heat insulation suits can be used as protective clothing for workers when they approach high-temperature working areas. This garment is composed of two layers of materials: an aluminized heat insulation layer and a comfortable layer. It has excellent radiation heat protection, fire resistance, and heat insulation properties. This garment can be used as personal protective equipment for high-temperature workers in industries such as glass, chemical, cement, ceramics, and metal smelting.
I. Structural Characteristics
The structure is: split type, integrated type.
2. The entire set of clothing includes a hood, a top, suspenders pants, gloves, and a boot cover for insulation.
II. Technical Characteristics
1. Main Performance:
The maximum radiation heat protection is no more than 500℃.
It can withstand a contact temperature of 300℃ for a short period of time.
※ If one is exposed to flames or molten metals for a prolonged period of time, it will cause permanent damage to the surface aluminum coating.
2. Main Parameters:
※ Flame retardant performance of the outer material: The radial length of damage is less than 100mm. The smoldering time is less than 2 seconds. There is no phenomenon of molten dripping.
※ Outer layer breaking strength: > 500N.
※ Outer material tear resistance: > 50N.
※ Thermal stability of the outer material: After a 5-minute heat stability test at 180℃, there was no carbonization or melting droplet phenomenon.
※ Fabric size variation rate: Radial and weft directions < 5%
※ The external fabric's resistance to static water pressure is greater than 4 kPa.
※ Comfort layer flame retardant performance: Recombination time < 2 seconds, damage length in radial and longitudinal directions < 100mm, no melting and dripping phenomenon.
※ Comfort layer breaking strength: Radial and longitudinal ≥ 300N.
※ Heat insulation hood's high-temperature resistance performance: After being exposed to a temperature of 180℃ for 5 minutes, there is no carbon residue, melting or dripping, and the window shows no significant changes or damages.
The dexterity performance of the heat insulation gloves is rated at level 3.
※ Weight: ≤ 4kg.
III. Usage
Preparation and inspection before use
The entire set of clothing consists of a jacket, trousers, a head cover, gloves, and a pair of insulated boots. It should be used as a complete set. Before use, the integrity of the entire set of clothing should be checked. If it does not meet the requirements for complete performance, one must not enter the work site. The inspection contents include:
※ Is there any damage or loose stitching on the surface of the clothing?
※ Are the accessories of each part of the clothing properly fastened, firmly and reliably?
※ Are the zippers and buttons functioning smoothly and flexibly? Is the waistband of the pants elastic? Are the snaps in good condition and reliable?
Is the gold-plated viewing screen on the headgear clear?
2. Usage Notes
When entering the work site, it is necessary to be fully equipped and wear all necessary protective gear. Ensure that the sealing parts are securely fastened to maintain a good seal for the clothing.
Firefighters should be proficient in operating and using the accompanying equipment, such as the proper wearing and use of air respirators.
IV. Maintenance and Care
If the clothing gets dirty after use, it should be scrubbed. During scrubbing, use a soft brush dipped in neutral detergent to clean the remaining dirt on the surface. Then rinse it with clean water and hang it in a ventilated place to dry naturally. Do not immerse it in water or hit it. Do not dry it by baking.
V. Storage
Each set of clothing should be packed in a single unit. It is not allowed to unpack and stack them outside the box. They can be stored in their original factory condition in a whole box on a shelf 20 cm above the ground to prevent moisture and dirt.
2. Based on the condition of the warehouse, regular ventilation and垛rearrangement should be carried out. In case of necessity, drying should also be conducted to prevent mold growth and insect infestation due to moisture.
3. A thorough unpacking inspection should be conducted every three months to check if the clothing has suffered any damage due to storage conditions.
4. During storage and transportation of the clothing, it should be avoided from coming into contact with hard or sharp objects to prevent scratches and damages.
5. Storage period: One year.
※Special Warning※
When wearing this protective suit, if the environment is extremely harsh, it is necessary to wear an air respirator and communication devices to ensure that the wearer can breathe normally in the high-temperature condition and maintain communication with people outside!
2. It is strictly prohibited to wear and use it in special environments such as those containing hazardous chemicals, toxic gases, viruses, or nuclear radiation!
